Industrial Agriculture is the problem

In 1958 in Salinas, California, farmers sprayed boxed up lettuce on the way to market.  Organic agriculture and Community Supported Agriculture is a modern alternative to this kind of reckless application of chemicals to our food.  Watch a film called “Broken Limbs” about Washington apple growers today who found their way from globalization bankruptcies to Community Supported Agriculture small farm revival.  Inspiring and full of hope for a future without chemical pollution and 10 thousand mile foods.   It’s the second film of this sort I have watched recently.  The other is called “The Real Dirt on Farmer John.”
