“Love Passed Over Us Like a Cloud” is the first offering in my new Short Poem Video Series. Over the decades of reading poetry in public I seldom include my very short poems. Yet they are some of my favorites. The Short Poem Video Series will bring these under one minute poems to you for the first time. LOVE PASSED OVER US LIKE A CLOUD
Love passed over us like a cloud.
The air was filled with sandalwood and secrets.
It could have gone on forever
but clouds, like the moon,
have schedules and duties to perform.
So we moved on
to rush through love.
