Nina Serrano Voz Sin Tinta Featured Poet May 13, 2021
Please join me at a Voz Sin Tinta zoom event. I will be reading a selection of my poems from 5 decades of writing poems in a 15 minute set.
You can find my poetry through my website in my Heart Suite trilogy, Heart Songs, Heart’s Journey and Heart Strong. These three books collect my poems written from 1969 to 2012. Many of my poems, including some written after 2012, are presented in the poetry section of my website as poem videos, audio poems, poem texts, and in my poetry blog posts.
As a poet, my poems are journal entries from my heart and my dreams. My poetry encompasses my friends, family, home, community, city, travels, including death, birth, menstruation, menopause, youth, aging, cosmology, seasons, nature and the eternal mysteries of life.

Nina Serrano is a prize winning activist poet. She participates in zoom poetry readings and produces poetry programs for KPFA-fm and OZCAT Radio and her website and Youtube channel. She is currently preparing a fourth book of poems “Out of the Blue”.
